Deposits
and Refunds for Conferences
Please send a deposit of $100 per person for conferences, plus any membership
or donation amounts. The balance of your fees will be due upon arrival
at Rowe for the start of the conference. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
If you are paying by check or money order, please mail your check to Rowe
Camp & Conference Center, PO Box 273, Rowe, MA 01367. Please note
that your registration will not be confirmed until we receive your deposit.
Partial refunds are
available if you give notice of cancellation at least one week before
a program - a $30 processing fee will be deducted. Credit vouchers are
available if you cancel less than one week before an event (minus the
$30 processing fee). The cancellation fee will be waived if you transfer
to another program when you cancel or if you donate your deposit to Rowe
as a tax-deductible contribution.
Bartering/Work-Exchange
We don't want to exclude people who have financial constraints, so we
have a work-exchange program available. If you are having trouble meeting
our costs, please contact us about barter opportunities, which are possible
when an agreement is made in advance. You will need to pay your meals
and housing fees or your deposit, whichever is greater. You can barter
off your program fee. There are three general categories of work-exchange:
KP Supervision
- During the workshop or camp we can use one or two people (three for
longer workshops) to supervise the process of doing the dishes, cleaning
up after each meal, and setting up for the next meal. You will be working
approximately 6 hours (1 after each meal) and will receive a credit of
$75 toward your program fee.
General Help - Come up early or stay after the program. You can do up
to two days of work-exchange for a $7 per hour credit. Work may include
but is not limited to housekeeping, office, and grounds work.
Other help - If you have trade skills (carpentry, plumbing, gardening)
or bodywork skills (e.g. licensed massage therapist), other options are
available for bartering. Please contact us!
Group Discounts
Couples from the same household, coming to the same program get a 10%
discount. We offer a 10% discount to all members of groups of 5 or more
coming to the same conference, and with enough notice we will even give
you your own cabin or dorm room, so get your friends or group to join
you. With groups of 6-10, the organizer of the group can come for half
price. For larger groups, the organizer can come for free. Please note
that these discounts are offered in part due to the savings in registering
and managing a group instead of individual registrations. Therefore, all
members of a group must be registered at the same time. This is typically
easiest for all concerned if the information is provided in an email or
fax (413-339-5728).
Frequent
Fliers
Can't decide? We love people who love our programs, so if you attend four
programs within a calendar year, we'll send you a gift certificate for
a fifth weekend free (no barter credit or other discounts may be applied
to these weekends).
Online Registration
You can find out more about currently scheduled camps and conferences
