Rosh Hashanah Blessing with Robin Rose Bennett Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the Jewish New year is based in the lunar calendar, and the first of the two nights falls on Friday’s New Moon. This year it is also nearly conjunct with Earth’s holy day of Autumn Equinox and that is especially auspicious as it relates to our green nations gathering. All are invited to join in tonight’s Rosh Hashanah blessing ritual. We will invoke new beginnings in a ritual that is specific to Jewish tradition and also universal. We will celebrate the joining of immanent and transcendent Spirit, female and male, and call on our own power of choice as we consciously create an intention for the New Year to be sweet and abundant with blessings. Robin Rose Bennett is a green woman, a universal Earth woman from a Jewish family background who celebrates all traditions and holy days with love and reverence. Bring a towel (not from your room but one you have brought) and wear a light garment. Please do not eat before going in the lodge. Food will be available after the lodge. Drink plenty of water all day long prior to the lodge. Mark Carlin was first initiated as a New Warrior with the Mankind Project in 1993 and has since participated on the staff of many trainings.
